Join us at the Tyngsboro Roller Kingdom or the Hudson Roller Kingdom for our Friday Supper Skate. This great skating session takes place from 4-6:30pm nearly every Friday. Admission, skate rental, a slice of pizza, and a soda are all included for $6. That is a great bargain!

The Great Skate Rebate

Those big box nationwide shoe stores sometimes offer a BOGO 50% off deal, but that is nothing compared to what we offer when you purchase roller skates at the skate shop at Roller Kingdom. Dollar Nights

Wednesday nights at both rinks are dollar skate night. The midweek session is the perfect way to get a break from a rough work week or crazy week at school. And $1 admission for skating simply can’t be beat. Especially when that $1 is for three whole hours of roller skating from 6-9pm.

Who knew that July 24 is #NationalCousinsDay?! We’ve been roller skating in Tyngsboro and Hudson, MA for a few decades! Over the years we have seen cousins that have spent so much time together that they have become best friends. Parents Day

Not only is there a Cousins Day on July 24 of each year, but the fourth Sunday of July is Parents’ Day! This day is not widely celebrated, but hey if Father’s Day and Mother’s Day aren’t enough to show your love and devotion to your parents, then another day is always good. We’re closed on Sundays in July, but you can celebrate your Parents or your children any time that we are open!

We’re calling all active or retired members of the U.S. Military! We want thank you for your service with a special offer. Roller Kingdom caters to the families in the Tyngsboro area. We strive to provide entertainment for all ages with roller skating, an arcade, laser tag, and karaoke. On Sunday, July 19th, we are changing it up a bit to provide a special night to our 18 and up crowd at our Tyngsboro location.

Tickets Now Available

Roller Kingdom’s Adult Night is $8 for admission and skate rental in advance, or $10 at the door. You may purchase tickets online and bring your identification with you for our special roller skating event.

We’re currently collecting information from you, our skaters, to determine what type of music you want to hear more of during our Adult Skate Night. Share your preference with us on Facebook or when you purchase tickets online.

This event is back by popular demand! Book your babysitter and enjoy a kid-free night at Roller Kingdom. You won’t have to worry about navigating your way around the little ones, just enjoy a night out with friends! Skating

Of course we have skating at Roller Kingdom! We love to skate, and we love to have you out on the floor skating as well. Doesn’t matter if you wear quads or inlines, and it doesn’t matter if you are beginning or advanced. Wherever you are as a roller skater, we are here for you. So put on those skates, and skate away any summer boredom that may have set in!

Laser Tag

When we say, “Tag, you’re it!” at Roller Kingdom, we are not talking about a traditional game of tag! Instead, we are talking about laser tag. Whether you choose to team up and go it alone, this is a great adrenaline rush!

Games

Whether you buy your skates from Roller Kingdom or you buy your own skates, you want them to last as long as possible. Follow these following maintenance tips and your skates will continue to operate in top form for years to come.

When you first receive your skates, perform an initial maintenance check.

• Make sure the wheels are properly attached, the nut in the wheel is firmly screwed in and there’s no give between wheel nut and wheel.
• If your skate is a quad, check to make sure the toe stop is adjusted to your preferred height.
• For quads, you’ll also want to check the tightness of the truck (the place between the wheels) and tighten that bolt as well.

After every skating session, check the wheels, wheel nuts and bearings.

• Make sure the wheels of your roller skates have not become loose; tighten them if they have. A loose ride is a dangerous ride so keep your wheels tight.
• Ensure the bearings are not wet. Wet bearings will rust or corrode. All grime or rust should be cleaned with rubbing alcohol; do not use dish soap. Dish soap will damage your bearings.

When necessary, perform additional roller skate maintenance.

• When your ride is less smooth, check the wheel bearings. Some skate dealers have wheel presses that will remove the bearings, but you can also use a screw driver. If your roller skate bearings don’t spin well, they need to be lubricated.
• Once the bearings are removed, you can wash your wheels in hot water with dish soap. (Dish soap damages bearings.) After your skates are completely dry, you can put the bearings back in.
• Smell can be eliminated with fresh air and sunlight. Leave the insoles of your skates fully exposed to the sun to remove odor. Baking soda may also prove a viable remedy.

If you take the time to care for your roller skates, they will last for years and be smooth riding for a long time. If you invest the time into roller skate maintenance, you won’t have to invest the money into a new pair of skates.
