Winter Vacation Skating

Long days, cold temperatures, and not a lot of sunlight can make for a combination that leads to the winter blues. If you are feeling a little blue, keep in mind that exercise does a body good! All physical activity is a step in the right direction, but why step in the right direction when you can skate in the right direction!

Lift your spirits and your mood! Say goodbye to those winter blues with our Winter Vacation Skating. School will be out, so we’ll be open for skating, laser tag, and game winning fun! Invite a friend or a handful of them to make for an exciting day out to Roller Kingdom over the upcoming Winter Vacation break from school

Skating for Fun and for Raising Funds

Read the news and you will see that budget cuts have been in the works for nearly everyone! This has certainly impacted non-profit groups, schools, and community organizations. We know that in this day and age it can sometimes be hard to have enough cash for your particular group or organization. Many such groups turn to fundraising in an effort to increase their cash flow and meet their financial needs. When you choose to host a fundraising event with Roller Kingdom, you need to know that it will really be a FUNdraising event! You’ll be able to raise necessary funds and your participants will have fun at the same time. No need to ask them to purchase something they won’t need, and no worries about sending children door to door to make sales!Fundraising Fun

How does it work?

We’ve got detailed fundraising information on our website, but the simple fact is that the more people you have out, the more money you’ll make! This means that it is essential that you promote your event as much as possible. Good old fashioned fliers work well with school groups and scouting groups, but we’ve seen groups find success in sending out emails, getting on the phone, sending text alerts, posting Facebook messages, and Tweeting it out!

What do we need to bring?

The only thing you need to bring is people! We provide roller skates, a full service snack bar, and of course the environment-our 25,000 square foot facility. The most important thing again is that you bring the people in for the event so that it will be successful for you!

Contact us with your date for one of the easiest fundraisers you’ll ever be a part of! You may book your event at the Hudson Roller Kingdom or at the Tyngsboro Roller Kingdom. Keep up with us on InstagramFacebook and Twitter to keep up with all of our information and news!

Happy New Year from Roller Kingdom!

Whether you take New Year’s resolutions or goals seriously or not, we know that some of the most common New Year’s resolutions out there involve eating better, exercising more, and losing weight. We’re here to help you with those goals in the start of 2015 at Roller KingdomHappy new Year

Get in Shape with Skating!

Did you know that roller skating is a great way to get in shape? Not only does it reduce stress on your joints, but you also burn a ton of calories while having fun! Here are some details with more information:

  • Low-impact – Unlike other forms of exercise such as running that strain and damage knees and joints, roller skating is low-impact and joint-friendly. The fluid movements as you roller skate mimic those of dancing or running, but are thankfully free of impacts that can damage joints.
  • Whole-body workout – The strength and balance required for roller skating works your arms, legs, core, and cardiovascular system. Your legs and glute muscles receive the most benefits from skating, as does your core as you push through movements and maintain balance. Strong legs, improved coordination, and balance are beneficial for all ages.
  • Burn calories – Enjoy roller skating with your children and grandchildren and burn as many calories as other aerobic workouts. What makes skating better than traditional aerobic exercises is that you’re doing it with family while listening to great, upbeat music, making memories, and having fun.

Join us for our many skating sessions and start off the new year right with roller skating, laser tag, and arcade games! Make sure to keep up with us on InstagramFacebook and Twitter!
