We know that in addition to the symbolic end of summer, Labor Day weekend is often the last hurrah for many as they prepare for the stretch from the start of the school year to winter break. It is also representative of time to kick back, relax, and enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. This year, we wanted to help you kick start your three day weekend by offering free skate rental for children and adults at Roller Kingdom in Hudson and Tyngsboro.

Come on out to our 1pm-4pm sessions on Saturday, August 30th and on Sunday, August 31st. Skate rental is free for all adults and children. Whether you are young, young at heart, or an honored citizen, it does not matter to us! We’ll gladly pass you a pair of skates for free and allow you to celebrate your long weekend on our skating floor.

Don’t forget to challenge the kiddos to a game of laser tag or skee ball, and while you’re at it you can showcase those pipes of yours with karaoke! Whatever you choose to do, we are looking forward to having you roll on in to Roller Kingdom for our free skate rental this Labor Day weekend.

Sweltering heat, lemonade, fireflies after dark, and back to school sales are all signs that the end of the summer is near. With Tyngsborough Schools getting underway on Tuesday, August 26 and Hudson Public Schools resuming on Tuesday, September 2 we wanted to help you end this summer while glowing! Roller Kingdom’s End of Summer Firefly Night will allow for just that!

 Glow Skating

Everything, including you, will glow during our End of Summer Firefly Night. The first 100 people to join us will get a free glow novelty. Of course you can wear your neon clothes and anything that glows including the smile on your face! Join us at 7pm sharp to be one of the first to enter at Tyngsboro and Hudson! 

Extra Games and Extra Fun

We know that Roller Kingdom offers tons of fun each and every time our guests come through the doors. With roller skating, laser tag and games in our arcade, there is always fun to be had! However, on Friday, August 29 we are stepping up the fun level with extra games.

Friday Supper Skate

Looking for a little pre glow skate? Get your skate on a little early by joining us from 4:00-6:30pm! For only $6 you will get admission, skate rental, a slice of pizza, and a soda! This is an amazing deal that is great for the family and both Tyngsboro and Hudson!

Roller skating has been around for quite some time. Another thing that has been around for quite some time is the key to maintaining a healthy weight relates directly to diet and exercise. The American Heart Association states that, “Adults need at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week to see the health benefits of physical activity such as lower blood pressure, improved bone health, weight maintenance after weight loss, better sleep, and more energy.”

We don’t know about you, but all of those benefits sound pretty amazing! For this reason, we offer multiple skating sessions throughout the week at both of our Roller Kingdom locations. Whether you are in Tyngsboro or Hudson, we are here for you! 

What will we be doing during your skating sessions with us? Well, we hope that you will be getting your sweat on! The awesome thing about roller skating is that you will be having so much fun moving, and skating out on our floor that you won’t even notice that you are exercising! School will be back in session before we know it! The start of the school year often brings the realization that clubs, groups, and organizations need a little more funding in order to meet their goals. Now is the time to get ahead of schedule and plan a fundraiser for your group at Roller Kingdom in Tyngsboro or Roller Kingdom in Hudson.

In the past we shared how important it is to plan ahead for fundraising.  This is still true, and we want to encourage you to plan in advance as much as possible with Roller Kingdom. This will allow you to insure that your group is on the calendar and booked for your fundraiser.

As you consider the logistics of your fundraiser, think about what your participatns will do as they join you with a common goal. Will they skate? Will they eat? Will they play laser tag? If the answer is yes to any of these ponderings, then getting a date on the calendar sooner than later will be extremely helpful.

Skating

Roller Kingdom is known first and foremost for roller skating, after all, we are a skating rink! Roller skating is a fun and healthy way for your group to raise funds. We offer 10% of gross receipts back to your school or organization with a minimum of 60 skaters. Contact us for additional details.

Snacking

Our snack bars offer fun food that is delicious and perfect for a treat when taking a skating break. From fried dough to pizza, nachos to popcorn, and slushies to soda, we’ve got you covered! Contact us for more details about snack bar options during your fundraising event.

Sneaking

Yeah, that’s right! If your group opts to include laser tag inside your fundraising activities, there is sure to be some sneaking. This sneaking will take place as participants hide behind obstacles in an effor to avoid the laser beams fro their opponents. You can choose a 3D laser tag game at our Tyngsboro rink or a regular game at our Hudson rink. Whatever you choose, laser tag is fun for all!

Wednesdays­$1 Night Skate at Tyngsboro

Celebrate making it halfway through the week with skating! How can you resist skating for just $1?! Watch our calendar carefully because $1 Night is coming to Hudson in the Fall!

Fridays ­Pizza Supper Skate

Where will you be on Friday afternoons? We’ll be hanging out at the Pizza Supper Skate in Tyngsboro and Hudson! $6 gets admission, rental, a slice of pizza, and Pepsi. This is an amazing deal, and we can’t wait to have all of our skaters come and hang out too!

Saturdays and Sundays­ Summer Skating Fun

Fridays are awesome, but we are also offering Summer Skating Fun sessions each weekend. Roller Kingdom is open on Saturdays and Sundays at Tyngsboro and Hudson from 1­-4pm. Admission for each of our Summer Fun Sessions is $8 and skate rental is $1. Parent admission is free with paid admission for children, and skate rental for parents is $3.

Don’t forget to fit in a game of laser tag or play a few games in the arcade! Those are fun activities to cross off of your summer bucket list too!
