3 Ways to Keep Kids Active in the Winter

Do you ever feel like it is a struggle for kiddos to get that pent up energy out during the winter? Shorter days and colder temperatures can make it challenging for children and adults to get enough physical exercise outside. Meanwhile, the need for physical exercise as identified by the Mayo Health Clinic still exists. Therefore at Roller Kingdom, we’re happy to share three ways to help keep kids and adults active in the winter!

  1. Take Advantage of our Pizza Supper SkateKids

We don’t know about you, but a night off of cooking and dishes always sounds like a good idea to us! Join us at the Tyngsboro or the Hudson Roller Kingdom for our Pizza Supper Skate. Just $6 provides admission, skate rental, a slice of pizza, and a soda! This is a fantastic deal for families and individuals that takes place nearly every week from 4-6:30pm

  1. Don’t miss Dollar Night

Don’t worry about expensive gym memberships to keep in shape! You can skate at the Tyngsboro Roller Kingdom for just a buck on Wednesday nights. Bring a friend or two, or your entire family to get in on this great mid-week break for exercise!

  1. It’s About More Than Skating!

Don’t forget that both of our Roller Kingdom locations offer laser tag. Playing laser tag is a great way to get your heart beating and pumping! You’ll feel the adrenaline rush as you hide behind obstacles, and attempt to outmaneuver the enemy’s fire! Laser tag is a fun add-on activity for any birthday party or corporate event at Roller Kingdom!

We hope that this winter you stay warm and active as we continue to countdown the days and weeks to spring! Join us during any of our open sessions at Tyngsboro or Hudson to keep active this winter!
