“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
― Dr. Seuss, I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!
What is the challenge?
Our challenge is for you to log your reading for the whole month of March because your reading can equal skating at Roller Kingdom through our Roller Kingdom Reading Challenge!
Why is Roller Kingdom offering a Reading Challenge?
At Roller Kingdom, we celebrate our love of skating by providing a healthy and fun way to exercise. Normally, we encourage everyone to skate, skate, and skate! In recognition of March is Reading Month we wanted to help encourage a love of reading for children and young adults within our community. We want to challenge our skaters to read, read, and read!
Why should I participate in the Roller Kingdom Challenge?
If you participate in the Roller Kingdom Reading Challenge, you will be eligible for one free skating pass that you can use at either Tyngsboro Roller Kingdom or our Hudson Roller Kingdom.
Who can participate in the Roller Kingdom Challenge?
We are partnering with local schools to help in this effort. If you are a student in elementary, middle, or high school within the greater Tyngsboro and Hudson areas, then your reading can equal a free pass to Roller Kingdom.
What do I need to do to participate?
Record the books that you read in the month of March on a reading log. At the end of the month get your log signed by your teacher and parent. In April, you may bring your signed reading log to Roller Kingdom in exchange for one free skating pass per book (we will honor up to five grade level appropriate books for a total of five passes with one pass given per book read). This pass may not be combined with any other discounts that we provide, and don’t forget to bring a parent or guardian with you.
