Roller skating is great for any time of the year, but in October, it’s even better than usual! The month of October is Roller Skating Month! That’s right, we have a whole month dedicated to the great activity we all know and love. National Roller Skating Month actually began in 1983 to promote not only its fun aspects but also the benefits it has for your health. So, what can we do this month to celebrate? Roller Kingdom has a few things in store for you!
- Dollar Night (Every Wednesday) – Save some money and join us for Dollar Nigh on Wednesdays! What’s better than saving money and having fun at the same time?
- Halloween Costume Contest (Oct. 25th) – Is your costume game strong? Then join in on the festivities for a chance to win some great prizes!
- 1st place receives a year of free admission and a choice of roller skates (up to $300).
- 2nd place receives a year of free admission.
- 3rd place receives a choice pair of skates (up to $150).
- Breast Cancer Awareness Day (Oct. 18th) – Admission is only $1 for this event and the proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Come have some fun and support a more than worthy cause!
